Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Earl of Pembroke'.

Bloom:

Crimson, red edges. Moderate fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, globular bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.

Growing:
