Bloom:
Bud starting dark red opening cherry red, finishing purple pink.. Mild, clove fragrance. 10 to 15 petals. Average diameter 4.75". Medium to large, single to semi-double, borne mostly solitary bloom form. Prolific, once-blooming spring or summer. Medium, long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, suckers on its own roots, upright. Semi-glossy, light green, attractive fall color, leathery, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.
Height: 4'11" to 5'11" (150 to 180cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 10b. Can be used for beds and borders, garden, hedge, landscape, rock garden, shrub or specimen. Flowers drop off cleanly. heat tolerant. plant in partial shade for best color. shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, blackspot resistant, mildew resistant, rust resistant.
