Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Lord Frederick Cavendish'.

Bloom:
Scarlet.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), globular, nodding or "weak neck" bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
