Origin:
Bred by Jean Touvais (France, 1867).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Sophie de la Villeboisnet'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Pink, white shading.  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.
