Bred by Antoine Levet (père) (France, 1870).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Madame Bérard'.

Yellow, copper center, salmon-pink outer petals.  Bright buff or fawn.  Strong fragrance.  Medium to large, very double, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: 8'2" to 10' (250 to 305cm).  Width: 4'11" to 8' (150 to 245cm).

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
