Medium red Hybrid Perpetual.
Origin:
Bred by Victor Carré (France, 1861). Bred by Hippolyte Jamain (France, 1861).
Introduced in Australia by Charles Wyatt, Frogmore Nursery in 1868 as 'Madame Boutin'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Said to be similar to 'Christina Nilson' - see.
