Bred by Charles Mallerin (France, before 1929).
Introduced in France by Henri Guillot in 1932 as 'Simone Guérin'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1934 as 'Simone Guérin'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow to tan, orange shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), high-centered to flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Large, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
