Origin:
Bred by Kenneth J. "Ken" Nobbs (New Zealand, circa 1985).
Class:
China / Bengale, Shrub.  
Bloom:
White and yellow.  Light yellow fading white. attractive yellow buds..  Average diameter 2".  Small to medium, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 4'11" (150cm).  Width: 4'11" (150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

The 2012 reference for 'Elizabeth Colenso' suggests that 'The Active', a sister seedling, was bred c1985.

The brig "Active" under the command of Capt. Thomas Hansen arrived in New Zealand from New South Wales with a party of the Church Missionary Society in December 1814.
