Origin:
Bred by Captain George C. Thomas (United States, 1931).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1938 as 'Victoria Harrington'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red, russet shading, lighter center.  Flowers very dark red, shaded orange-brown, center lighter.  Strong, spice fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Dark green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.
