Origin:
Introduced in United Kingdom by Fisk's Clematis Nursery in 1984 as 'Mayleen'.
Class:
Early Small Flowered, Group 1, Montana Group.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Strong, vanilla fragrance.  4 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Single bloom form.  Late spring to early summer, late summer.  
Habit:

Height: 20' to 26' (610 to 790cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 9b.  Best in a sunny location.  No pruning required.  Shape or tidy up the plant AFTER flowering is finished.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
