Bred by Magnus Johnson (Sweden, 1979).
Class:
Atragene Group, Early Small Flowered, Group 1.  
Bloom:
Brown and red.  4 petals.  Average diameter 1.75".  Small, bell-shaped, nodding bloom form.  Early-to-midspring.  
Habit:

Height: 6½' to 10' (200 to 305cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 3b through 9b.  Plant in soil that drains well.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  Suitable for growing in a container.  No pruning required.  Shape or tidy up the plant AFTER flowering is finished.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
