Introduced in Netherlands by Proefstation voor de Boomkwekerij Boskoop in 1992 as 'C. montana 'Fragrant Spring''.
Class:
Early Small Flowered, Group 1, Montana Group.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Strong fragrance.  4 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  Small to medium, single, saucer-shaped bloom form.  Mid-to-late spring.  
Habit:

Height: 20' to 30' (610 to 915cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 9b.  Best in a sunny location.  No pruning required.
