Origin:
Bred by Hiroshi Hayakawa / Akakawa (Japan, 1974).
Introduced in United States by The U.S. National Arboretum as 'Ena'.
Class:
Early Large Flowered, Group 2.  
Bloom:
Lavender - blue, cream anthers.  6 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 6.5".  Large bloom form.  Late spring to early summer, late summer to early autumn.  
Growing:
USDA zone 2a and warmer.
