Introduced in Netherlands by J. van Zoest bv in 2008 as 'C. viticella 'John Howells''.

Group 3, Viticella Group.  
Bloom:
Red, purple shading.  4 to 6 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Small, bell-shaped, star-shaped bloom form.  Early summer to early autumn.  
Habit:

Height: 8'2" to 9'10" (250 to 300cm).
