Dr. A. S. Thomas, Victoria.  Some Of The Newer Introductions.
Pristine (W.A. Warriner). A very beautiful rose of off-white colouring with pink edges to its 25-30 petals, which are of thick texture. The blooms are of perfect form and they open well in all weathers. The plant is healthy and vigorous. A wonderful dual-purpose rose.

Dr. A. S. Thomas, Victoria. Some Of The Newish Cultivars.
Pristine  Large flowered (Warriner). Yet another in that same group. A very pretty rose. It has only 25 to 30 petals but it lasts surprisingly well. Vigorous free flowering.

p80.  Roy and Heather Rumsey, NSW.  New Roses In Australia.
Pristine (Warriner) HT. A near white delicately flushed and shaded light pink, and having 25 or more petals, which overlap beautifully. Splendid dark green foliage, and profuse bloom. Lightly fragrant, and it needs the cool autumn weather for these delicate colours to look the best.

p119.  Dr. A. S. Thomas, Victoria.  Some New Ones.
Pristine  Large Flowered (Warriner, 1978): Planted 1980. Long white flowers with a little pink shading. Only 25 to 30 petals, but good form. The petals lack substance so far - this could be its weakness. Good growth.
Book  (1980)  Page(s) 48.

E. F. Allen, Awards To New Rose Seedlings In Great Britain In 1979.
Pristine [('Duftwolke' x 'John F. Kennedy') x seedling]. A tall growing HT., by Jackson & Perkins, with large ivory blooms of classical shape and an extremely strong scent. This also received the Henry Edland Medal for the most fragrant rose on trial. It had a bad neighbour in 1978, which was severely attacked by black spot and later removed. Some of this disease later appeared on at least two plants of 'Pristine' but I noticed none in 1979. Like most white roses it is occasionally tinged with pale pink and it is none too happy after heavy summer rain, but, at its best, it is very lovely. Certificate of Merit.
