Notes:
Ralph Moore has recently said that the parentage of Carolyn Dean is likely a self-cross of 'Etoile Luisante'. The same would be said for the other sister seedlings of that year, Renae and Dancing Doll.

The Plant Patent for Renae states that its seed parent is 'Etoile Luisante' and pollen parent is 'Sierra Snowstorm' therefore the parentage of Carolyn Dean must be the same.

the 1944 reference mentions a seed parent of 'Miss Barbara'.
