The last nursery I visited in South Australia is in the grounds of Hughes Park, Watervale, a mansion built between 1867 and 1873 and now home of Walter Duncan and his family. There, along a fronting balustrade, 'Cloth of Gold', with a massive bole, has trailed its way for a century.....

Mr. E. H. Woodall, Nice, France. [written c1922]
I regret not to be able to recommend the good old Marechal Niel or the still lovely Chromatelle without a word of apology for their uncertain behavour. Will some good man give us a Reve d'Or that shall be worthy of its name? How welcome it would be!
