Conrad Ferdinand Meyer. This plant is a very thorny, vigorous climbing rose plant. It is approximately 7' tall. It had been growing since planted 4 months previous to date of this picture. It has produced three large blossoms this first year. I would describe the color of these flowers as a pinky mauve. Big blossoms which unfortunately lost its petals fast. Petals were here today gone in three days. These blossoms are shown in the previously posted photo's here on this page. I picked this rose for its ability to withstand rough snowy winters. It was purchased from Rose Petals Nursery which is a business nursery of rare roses listed on this site. I have no problems with it. Very healthy. I hope to see it start producing an abundant of continuous blossoms as it ages. My growing zone is 6a.
