Bred by François Lacharme (France, 1845).
Introduced in Australia by John J. Rule, Victoria Nursery in 1857 as 'Cornet'.

Damask Perpetual, Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Pink, dark red shading. [Lilac - rose-pink.].  Moderate, centifolia fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
