Albuquerque NM, Zone 7B, Hot and Dry. May 2023 photo of a recently-purchased, grafted 3 gallon plant up-potted into a whisky barrel. The rose took a few weeks to settle in, then put out impressive growth in foliage, buds and blooms. Lots of clusters. The plant seems to have the unusual smoky orange-mauve mixed coloring upon opening, then settles into a more uniform mauve shade as the blooms reflex and fade. I'm fascinated by this rose! Plus a divine scent, and bred by the incomparable Griffith Buck...
