Origin:
Bred by Edward Burton Le Grice (1902-1977) (United Kingdom, 1945).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1951 as 'Dusky Maiden'.
Class:
Floribunda, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Crimson - scarlet, yellow stamens.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 2' (up to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders or garden.
