Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1887).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1892 as 'Earl of Dufferin'.

Bloom:
Dark red.  Strong, rose fragrance.  53 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
