Bred by Hjermind & Weiss (1930).
Introduced in United States by Premier Rose Gardens in 1930 as 'Ambassador'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1935 as 'Ambassador'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Salmon-orange.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
