Bred by Pelletier (before 1850) (France, 1827).
Class:
Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Red blend.  Small, very double, cluster-flowered, cupped, pinpoint centers, reflexed bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Bristly , few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Medium green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 8b.  Prune after flowering is finished.  This rose blooms on old wood.
