Origin:
Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1932).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1934 as 'Viktoria Adelheid'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, orange-red reverse, lighter undertones, ages to orange-red .  Mild to strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, upright.  Large, glossy, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
