Bred by Rémi Tanne (France, before 1920).
Introduced in France by Eugene Turbat & Co. in 1920 as 'Fernand Tanne'.

Bloom:
Deep yellow, ages to cream .  Moderate, tea fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, flat bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy foliage.  
Height of up to 9' 10" (up to 300 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
