Origin:
Bred by Clarke Bros. (United States, 1921).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1922 as 'Imperial Potentate'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, silver(y) highlights, lighter reverse.  Bright pink, dark pink or rose pink with glistening or silver sheen. slightly lighter on reverse, white at base. Bloom lasting.  Strong fragrance.  41 to 55 petals.  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, classic hybrid tea, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright, well-branched.  Dark green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  does not do well in warmer climates.
