Bred by Marie-Louise (Louisette) Meilland (1920-1987) (France, 1982).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1982 as 'Tequila'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Orange blend, red edges.  Mild fragrance.  18 petals.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, matte, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  
Notes:
Melville Nurseries says Tequila has double blooms of orange, with a golden centre and flushed with red on the outer edges...
