Origin:
Bred by Marie-Louise (Louisette) Meilland (Paolino) (1920-1987) (France, before 1975).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1977 as 'Nirvana'.
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1978 as 'Nirvana'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Light pink.   (Rose azalée).  20 petals.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: 39" to 4'7" (100 to 140cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
