Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1968).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Samuel McGredy and Son, Nurserymen (Northern Ireland) in 1974 as 'Wee Man'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Red.  Bright red, scarlet, post office or pillar box red. Non-fading. Distinctive leaves.  Mild fragrance.  14 petals.  Single to semi-double, in large clusters, flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, compact.  Small, semi-glossy foliage.  

Height: 14" to 39" (35 to 100cm).  Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
