Super healthy and a nice scent with a pretty coloured bloom, but individual blooms last only a day or so sun, shade, heat or otherwise. That's the only disappointment with this one. Virtually carefree. Great in a woody or wild setting.

My nice in California recently found this rose and as aour family is called Hansa and it is not a very common name, we wonder who is the founder of this rose.
Can you help?

I doubt that the rose's name refers to the grower's name. Hansa is an old name for a Northern Europe merchant union.
