Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1926).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1927 as 'Lady Worthington Evans'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson, darker shading, brown undertones.  Mild fragrance.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.
