'Lady Huntingfield' rose References
Book  (Dec 1998)  Page(s) 347.  Includes photo(s).

p347 Lady Huntingfield. Modern. Large-flowered hybrid tea. Medium yellow, repeat flowering. The flowers of this rose are yellow with a touch of golden apricot, paler on the reverse. They are rounded in form and are well filled with spoon-shaped, rather soft-textured petals that jostle for space in the open blooms, creating a pleasingly informal, muddled center. There is an appreciable fragrance, and continuity of bloom is well maintained through summer and autumn. This variety is currently offered only in Australia, where there has been a revival of interest in the varieties raised by Alister Clark. The warmer climate there suits its use for general garden purposes. The plant grows vigorously with a bushy habit to average height and has glossy olive green leaves. Zones 5-9 Clark, Australia 1937. ‘Busybody’ x seedling.
