Bloom 4 cm across, densely filled, white, fine fragrance, in clusters. The shrub is of moderate vigour, is resistant, hardy and blooms very floriferously already beginning of June. Esteemable espalier and pillar rose.

'Gruß an Zabern' (with picture)
is among all ramblers the first bloomer. She has a very strong fragrance and is the most beautiful and floriferous among white ramblers. It is especially effectful as a weeping rose. In the Rosarium of Zabern [Saverne] is a 15-year old standard whose crown has a diameter of 3 meters. During the blooming period 'Gruss an Zabern' is admired generally.
