Bred by Marie-Louise (Louisette) Meilland (Paolino) (1920-1987) (France, before 1969).
Introduced in France by URS (Universal Rose Selection)-Meilland in 1970 as 'Prince Igor'.
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1971 as 'Prince Igor'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Orange-red, yellow reverse, crimson shading, ages to vermilion .  Nasturtium-red.  Moderate, fruity fragrance.  25 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, compact.  Matte, dark green foliage.  

Height: 22" to 26" (55 to 65cm).  Width: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
