'Nancy Steen'. Sherwood ('Pink Parfait' x ('Ophelia' x 'Park Director Riggers') Blush pink. 3 [bushes], 5, [years grown] 4' [average height], 7.6 rating. Taranaki says the flowers are 'dreamy' rosette shaped, with soft petals on a healthy bush. Otago report masses of bloom, making it a grand garden shrub rose.

K. J. Nobbs. Mr. and Mrs. George Sherwood were my gracious hosts over the weekend. ....His 'Nancy Steen' was a glorious picture. It is a little later in flowering than most roses and the colour of his plant was deeper than the two plants I grow. It is a fine shrub rose, a fitting tribute to a wonderful lady, who has a worldwide reputation in the Rose World and who has inspired and assisted some of us to try and preserve the heritage of past generations of rose growers.
