Introduced in United Kingdom by Dickson Nurseries Ltd. in 1920 as 'Hawlmark Crimson'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1921 as 'Hawlmark Crimson'.

Bloom:
Crimson, brown shading, ages to scarlet .  Moderate fragrance.  12 to 18 petals.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Bushy, upright.
