Bred by Jean-Baptiste Camuzet (France, before 1828).
Class:
Hybrid China, Hybrid Gallica.  
Bloom:
Light pink, peach shading, red center, ages to blush .  None to mild fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), cupped, expanded bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, well-branched.  5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 8b.
