Korovo is a lovely Rose that grows well, but at times the colour is rather "muddy." In many districts it is exceedingly beautiful.

Korovo.- This is a variety of outstanding beauty and quality, something in the way of Mad. Abel Chatenay, with a rich orange flush towards the base of the flower. The blooms are carried erect on long stems, whilst the growth is good and healthy.

IN THE GARDEN. Some of the New Roses. (By "Redgum.")
The new-comers mentioned below are for the connoisseur, and not for the man or woman in the kindergarten class. All are of special merit, and none is cheap. [...] Korovo, a salmon pink flower, with plenty of petal quality and shapeliness, can be added to the best collection, where it will stand comparing with the best pink roses in favour to-day.
