Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, 1906).
Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1911 as 'Marquise de Sinéty'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, carmine-red shading, ages to lighter .  Strong fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), cupped, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Winner of the first Bagatelle Gold Medal.
Probably dedicated to Edith de Cassagnes de Beaufort de Miramon (January 16, 1857 Le-Puy-en-Velay - January 25, 1946 Paris), who on July 2, 1883 married Armand Marie Albert de Sinéty (September 14, 1852 paris - November 29, 1923), Marquis de Sinéty. The Marquise de Sinéty was a patron of the Société française des rosiéristes.
