Habit:
Height of 6' 7" to 9' 10" (200 to 300 cm).

Notes:
Possibly named after "Alpenfee" (Fairy of the Alps) in Lord Byron's dramatic poem "Manfred" (1817). Robert Schumann's musical treatment of this (1848) was very well known in the German-speaking area.
