Origin:
Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, 1951).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1956 as 'Pigalle'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson, fuchsia / magenta edges, white reverse, golden-yellow shading, ages to fuchsia / magenta .  Mild fragrance.  64 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
