Today I recieved an e-mail from Lens nurseries. They told that their plant of this rose grows up to 5m. height attached to a wall of their house. And is reblooming now, at the same time as the one in Boskoop (see my last comment).
I sent them a picture of that rose and they told me, that's the same rose.
So the maximimum height of this rose, used as a climber can be changed into 5m. (or even 10m)
As a shrub it will reach the, in the description mentioned, height of 1.80m to 3.00m.

Yesterday I saw this rose in Boskoop NL. with a height of > 10 m. Very healthy!
The strong fragrance is, in my opinion, a mixture of Clematis Montana and Lily of the Valley............................................................................................................................

Today at the second of july I saw Guirlande d'Amour as shrubs at the Rosarium of Winschoten.
That is a different rose, better suiting the description and height.
