Discovered by L. Pernille Olesen (Denmark, 1990). Discovered by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 1990).
Introduced in Denmark by Poulsen Roser A/S in 1996 as 'Topkapi Palace'.

Bloom:

Deep pink. Mild fragrance. 55 to 60 petals. Average diameter 1.75". Small to medium, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, flat, globular, reflexed, rosette bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Ovoid buds.

Habit:

Medium foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.

Height: 16" to 30" (40 to 75cm). Width: up to 30" (up to 75cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
