Bred by William A. Warriner (United States, before 1988).
Introduced in United States by Bear Creek Gardens, Inc. in 1990 as 'Salsa'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Moderate, damask fragrance.  30 to 35 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered, urn-shaped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Tall, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
