Bred by César Chambard (France, before 1928).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1928 as 'Marguerite Chambard'.
Introduced in Italy by Fratelli Giacomasso in 1928 as 'Marguerite Chambard'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1930 as 'Marguerite Chambard'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Geranium-red, vermilion shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered, semi-globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright, well-branched.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.  vigorous.
