Bred by Roy L. Byrum (United States, 1958).
Introduced in United States by Joseph H. Hill Co. in 1961 as 'Town Crier'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light yellow.  Moderate, tea fragrance.  30 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 5.5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright, well-branched.  Large, glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.
