Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1934 as 'Genéral Stefánik'.

Mauve or purple blend.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, very double, globular bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.

Upright.

USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.  vigorous.

Notes:
Early sources state that 'General Stefanik' is a renamed 'Reine des Violettes'.
