A. D. Haff. Irish Singles.
'Isobel' (five petals) is a large flower on a large bush. The blooms are light rose-pink, with apricot shadings. Ethel James is somewhat similar, but a little smaller. The colors are softer and, to my mind, it is a better rose.

Single Roses
These are Hybrid Tea Roses with single or almost single flowers, and require the same culture and care as the other Hybrid Teas. They are often called the "Irish Singles", although they are not all of Irish origin. The buds are especially fine, but the open flowers are rather perishable although they are very freely produced.
