Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1876 as 'Abbé Bramérel'.

Hybrid Perpetual.

Bloom:

Carmine-red to crimson, dark brown shading, darker undertones. Moderate fragrance. Very large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Dense.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , susceptible to Mildew.
